Citation Reports

Citation Reports of POL offers a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the status of citation or reference. It helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels. Basic citation data may reveal the followings:

  • The number of articles published during the year
  • The number of times the articles in the journal were cited during the year
  • The number of citations made from articles published in the journal of a particular year
  • The journal impact factor
  • The journal immediacy index, the number of citations that year to articles published the same year
  • The journal cited half life, the median age of the articles in the journal that were cited by other journals during the year.
